Patrick Bellot

Bio

Patrick Bellot joined Phoenix IB® in 2014 and is a Managing Director with 8 years of investment banking experience. Patrick Bellot assists Phoenix IB’s clients on a multitude of transactions including mergers and acquisitions, private placements of debt and equity, and complex balance sheet restructurings.

Patrick provides tailored solutions to the plethora of complex challenges that face Phoenix’s clients. His experience spans both healthy and distressed businesses across a range of industries including ecommerce, consumer products, building products, health care, oil and gas, manufacturing, and distribution. Furthermore, Mr. Bellot’s experience working on transactions both inside and outside of bankruptcy provides him with the creativity to structure and execute transactions to achieve the best outcomes for Phoenix’s clients.

Mr. Bellot has held interim management roles and provided advisory services to both closely held and private equity backed businesses. His expertise includes providing financial leadership, developing financial models, curating offering materials, and negotiating with capital providers to drive transactions to a close.

Life Before Phoenix

Prior to joining Phoenix IB, Mr. Bellot completed a financial leadership rotational program for a for a multi-national pharmaceutical Company. He rotated through positions in strategy, finance, and commercial support.

Education & Affiliations

Mr. Bellot is a Cum Laude graduate from Suffolk University where he earned his B.A. in Finance. He is an active member of the Turnaround Management Association, where he is the NextGen committee chair for the Philadelphia Chapter. Mr. Bellot is also an active member in the Philadelphia and New York City Chapters of ACG and SFNet.

Patrick holds his series 79 license through FINRA. Mr. Bellot serves on the board of Bringing Hope Home, a Philadelphia-based non-profit that pays household bills for local families battling cancer.

Financial Advisor, Master Distributor of Industrial Goods: Sell-side investment banker in the distressed sale of the business. The sale provided ample funding to pay the Company’s secured debt, pay 100% recovery to unsecured creditors, and make a multimillion dollar distribution to ownership.

Financial Advisor, Importer and Distributor of Building Products: Completed a $10 million refinancing of the Company’s revolving line of credit and term loan facilities.
